A church wedding is a service of worship.
All arrangements are to be made through the Minister of the Pastoral Charge (i.e. time, music, organist) The date, hour and place of the ceremony need to be arranged well in advance (before other arrangements are made) with the Minister
Rehearsals are usually the evening before the wedding ceremony to allow time for any last-minute corrections
The Minister of the Pastoral Charge shall conduct wedding ceremonies. If you would like another person to participate, this should be discussed in advance with the Minister.
All that is done or said, played or sung should be an offering of praise to God and in keeping with the Christian faith. Music should be chosen carefully in consultation with the Minister and Organist. It is required that each couple will spend time in marriage preparation sessions with the Minister. Same-sex marriage has been discussed at the Joint Board level and no policy has been established.
Documents
All documents- marriage license, church register information and fees (in separate, well-marked envelopes) should be left with the Minister two weeks prior to the rehearsal so that the necessary clerical work may be completed.
Photographs
Photographs may be taken as the wedding party proceeds down the aisle at the beginning and ending of the service and during the signing of the documents, but not during the ceremony itself.
Video and Audio Taping
Video taping is acceptable within certain limits. The equipment must be set up 30 minutes in advance and be as inconspicuous as possible. Please discuss this in advance with the Minister. Video Technician must be at the rehearsal. Video operator must use a tripod.

So please, no thumbtacks, etc. All pew ornamentation should be fastened to the pews with elastic or tape. When you decorate, please do not hide the essential nature of the church as a place of worship. Also, appoint someone to be responsible for removing the decorations right after the service.
No confetti or bubbles are allowed inside the church building; biodegradable confetti and bubbles may be allowed outside.
No alcohol or smoking is permitted in the church building
Church Rental
A fee, established by the individual church boards, covers all costs and is required two weeks prior to the ceremony. A receipt will be issued on request.
